
Timo Vuorinen
Sales Director – SalesI am Timo Vuorinen and I am responsible for the sales organization at Lautex. My duties include sales strategies and development, marketing, budgeting, customer acquisition, as well as sparring with the sales team and reporting the order book to the company's management. I also actively participate in the calculation of offers.
My work history in the shipbuilding industry began in 2002, when I visited the Turku shipyard for the first time. At that time, the world's largest cruise ship, Navigator of the Seas, was under construction.
In the early stages of my career, I provided various information services related to shipbuilding, but very soon I was also involved in construction projects myself - especially cabin renovations and public space renovation projects. I was also a project manager in a modular hotel built in Stockholm, which was a special and educational project.
I have been on the payroll of a couple of Lautex client companies during my working career, so Lautex was already very familiar to me even before I started working here in early 2025. Among our clients, there are still many people with whom I have a common work history going back even 15-20 years.
